BASES was formed in 2007 to provide baseball and softball training in an atmosphere of life skills development to the youth of the Baltimore-Washington metro area. 

The mission of BASES is to provide high-quality individualized training for local athletes that will help them to grow to be productive members of the community and to be successful in life.  Skills training specific to their sport and the atmosphere in which that training is administered is the key to BASES success. 

R&D Cross, Inc. began in 1927 as a small business in a one-room building in Brandywine, Maryland serving its immediate community with farm, garden and tobacco-growing products.
